Jackie France
Associate Director for Patient Services
My NHS career began in 1985. I joined the IT Department when IT was officially introduced to the NHS in 1990 and set-up the original Help Desk, working as a Help Desk Administrator, then IT Trainer and IT Project Manager, implementing A&E, Theatres, PAS and Nursing Information Systems. I was appointed Programme Manager for the Administrative EPR. In 2009, I left the Trust and joined Commissioning as Head of EPR, working with primary, community and social-care services. I transferred to NYH CSU working with organisations across the Humber on their IT strategies and providing IT operational services to primary care, Hospices, MH, community and social care services. The NYH CSU merged with S&W Yorks, where I worked with a wider group of organisations across Yorkshire. I did a stint with NHS England on GPSoC and NHSX in the Digital Team before coming back to the Humber as Associate Director for IM&T. In 2017, I returned to home ground when I was appointed into my current role as Associate Director for Patient Services & Operational Lead for Out-Patient Transformation.
