People Moves: Mott MacD, TClarke, Skanska & Morgan Sindall

Ruth’s move will capitalise on her commitment to sustainability as well as her deep company knowledge.

She will assist Mott MacDonald’s clients at all stages of venue development, from initial strategising to sustainability consultancy and supporting their long-term legacy.

Having joined Mott MacDonald in 2023 as Technical Director, Ruth has maintained a focus on sustainability, resilience and climate adaptation.

She obtained an MBE for her services to sustainable engineering in the 2026 New Year Honours List.

Clive Carr

Clive joined the company in 2009 and worked his way up to Managing Director for Built Environment.

He takes over from Mark Lawrence, who has stepped down from his position at the top of the company after 41 years.

Mark hands over the company’s target of reaching £1bn (US$1.3bn) in annual revenues to Clive.

Abu Bhargava

Abu brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role, as well as a deep knowledge of Skanska’s operations.

He has worked in construction for 30 years, and at Skanska for more than half of that time.

He has directed work across a wide range of sectors, from federal and commercial to transportation and manufacturing.

Nick Corrigan

Nick brings 30 years of construction experience to his role, most of it spent across the North of England.

This is a significant appointment for the business as Morgan Sindall is working on delivering public and private sector schemes across the region worth between £10m (US$14m) and £100m (US$136m).
