Dubai-based consultancy practice AESG has appointed Alan Rowell as its UK Country Director as it establishes its European hub in London.

Following its formal expansion from the Middle East, AESG is now ready to further capitalise on rapidly changing dynamics within the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) construction markets. AESG believes its growing investment in the country will help it continue to introduce and implement industry best practices in all its geographies of operation.

Mr. Rowell is a construction industry expert with over 30 years of experience in Specialist Engineering Consultancy in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East, India, North Africa and China. He has proven experience in Building Services Design, Multidiscipline Design and Design Management and has led teams to deliver several complex national and international projects, covering a wide range of sectors. Our aim is to add value to every project and bring something entirely new to the UK market. We want to work with clients and collaborators that share our values of honesty, integrity and respect as our presence here is a long-term venture built on trust-based relationships that are mutually beneficial and offer long term repeat business.”

Saeed Al Abbar, Director at AESG said: “The realities of climate change, political and economic uncertainty, sustainability and carbon management have defined the UK construction sector in recent years. These are challenges which demand a new approach and AESG can provide a fully coordinated team of specialist consultants to deliver a unique offering in this market. At the same time, the London office will work closely with our Dubai headquarters, to deliver projects across Europe and the Middle East. Alan brings a wealth of expertise in multidiscipline projects which will no doubt lead to our success in this objective.”
