Dubai-listed construction company Arabtec has won a contract to build a Dhs 1.1 billion ($300 million) twin-towers project in central Dubai.

In a Dubai Financial Market statement, the builder said the project would comprise two 50-storey towers with a total area of more than 227,800 square metres.

Construction of the project, which includes residential apartments, will start imminently and last two-and-a-half years.
