The April 2018 issue of Construction Global magazine is now live!

This issue, we start the conversation with Ali Rashid Ahmed Lootah, Chairman at Nakheel, who highlights how the construction giant has created a world class destination for living, business and tourism across the Middle East.

Responsible for the development of the globally-famous Palm Jumeirah, the company has become renowned for its real estate projects which have set new standards in engineering design and creativity.

New technologies are reshaping traditional business models, and the construction industry is no exception. The implementation of 3D printing is one such tool which is growing in prominence. We speak with Founder and CEO of Newtecnic Andrew Watts regarding how the technology will continue to support the industry and provide a multitude of advantages across the entire building process.

Such transformation has also led to what can only be described as Construction 4.-0. We talked to Leigh Jasper, CEO of Aconex and a founding member of the Global Industry Council (GIC) to discuss the rapid transformation within construction and why now is the time for change.

We also speak to Bjarne W. Olesen, President of ASHRAE regarding the company’s latest sustainability developments within the HVAC industry.

On top of this, we’ll be rounding up the top 10 construction CEO’s of the world’s biggest construction companies, in addition to industry events across the globe for this calendar year.

As ever, check out the magazine here and join the conversation: @ConstructionGL
