Alain Michaelis will take over as Keller chief executive on 14th May 2015, after the company’s annual general meeting. Justin Atkinson is retiring.

Michaelis will also replace Atkinson as chairman of the executive committee.

Alain Michaelis began his career as a mechanical engineer with Arup, working on building design projects. He joins Keller from Rolls-Royce, where he is group operations director.

Previously, he has held senior leadership positions at automotive supplier Tenneco and building products distributor Wolseley.

Keller chairman Roy Franklin described him as “a highly experienced senior executive who brings considerable understanding of the complex multinational environment in which Keller operates.”
