How Clotilde Solier Has Become Bouygues Construction’s CFO

Clotilde Solier is the Chief Financial Officer of Bouygues Construction, the €10.6bn (US$12.2bn) construction arm of the Bouygues group. 

She took up the role on 1 September 2026, joining the Executive Committee led by Chief Executive Pierre-Eric Saint-André.

Clotilde succeeds Julien Toqueboeuf, who has moved to Equans, a fellow Bouygues subsidiary. 

Her appointment places a long-serving internal candidate at the head of financial steering for a business employing 34,500 people across more than 50 countries.

Why Bovis Is Backing Deaf Awareness in Construction

Hearing loss and tinnitus affect hundreds of thousands of people working across construction, yet awareness of the condition remains limited.

Bovis has joined forces with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), Unseen Aware, Safety in Design and Heathrow to develop a dedicated deaf awareness and hearing loss training programme for the sector. 

Backed by CITB's Industry Impact Fund, the collaboration brings together lived experience, behavioural science and health and safety expertise to help construction organisations better understand, communicate with and support deaf and hard-of-hearing colleagues.
