To increase levels of collaboration within the real-estate & tourism sectors, the Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) has announced the Oman Marketing Inc initiative that will act as a think tank to bring together Oman’s marketing and communication professionals and executives who opeate within the real-estate and tourism sectors, in order to explore ideas and means of improving and consolidating the current marketing efforts across the Sultanate.

In light of the initiative, Omran will host a sales and marketing summit, the first in a series of events, designed to foster dialogue, promote industry-wide collaboration and align marketing efforts, public relation campaigns and sales and marketing expenditure across the wider real estate ITC projects and tourism sector.

The Oman Marketing Summit 2016 will be held in Muscat next month, and will invite senior real-estate and tourism players - including ITC executives, hotels and resorts’ chiefs and sales and marketing executives, travel and hotels, hospitality operators, and marketing and branding companies - along with other tourism companies in the real-estate and tourism supply chain.

The summit will include focused workshops, panel discussions and selected briefings on upcoming tourism and ITC real-estate developments. The initiative aims to draw together real-estate and tourism and hospitality operators in a cohesive and collaborative manner to drive further, open new markets, and support the forecasted growth in visitor arrivals in the coming years.

Commenting on Oman Marketing Summit 2016, Omran Head of Corporate Affairs Qais Al Hosni noted: “In essence, we are all telling the story of Oman; its opportunities, beauty, the welcoming hospitality and stunning heritage and drive to secure premium high quality real estate projects and tourism products.

"We are all working towards communicating that same message across the different segments of the tourism industry, so it is vital that we as a sector are all aligned in regards to marketing and communication objectives. Between the real-estate and tourism players here in Oman, there is a wealth of knowledge, insights and innovative ideas. This summit provides the forum for us to capitalize on that knowledge and collaborate with each other to ensure the continual progress and success of the real estate & tourism sector as a whole.”

“Engaging with all stakeholders in the sector underlines our commitment towards transparency and collaboration. This summit will generate enormous value by bringing together all the key players within the real estate & tourism sector to discuss ways where sales & marketing efforts can be aligned, combined and boosted, both within the local market and when promoting Oman internationally. We need to develop and target new markets. Each one of us has an important role to play, however, we must all work together to support the growth of a vibrant and sustainable real estate and tourism sector,” he added.
