Leading US construction firm Skanska USA has launched Skanska Sidekick to summarise information, generate content & collaborate more effectively

As one of the largest construction and development companies in the US, Skanska USA is at the forefront of developments in the industry. 

In an innovative move for the industry and a key move for Skanska’s strategic commitment to leverage AI as part of its overarching data and innovation strategy, the company has released AI chatbot Skanska Sidekick. The proprietary, secure artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot is an internal solution designed to streamline AI-content generation while safeguarding data that has been designed to transform how solutions are delivered to customers.

As the Head of USA IT Shared Services, Melissa Faulkner is responsible for enterprise-wide technology strategies across three operating units in the US. She also oversees the national IT organisation and heads up advancement of Skanska’s IT architecture and design systems, risk management and security, platform optimisation, and corporate IT governance.
