Battling construction delays, technology company - Buildots - has developed innovative AI-assisted planning and tracking tools

Leading the charge when it comes to AI-based automated progress tracking, Buildots has unveiled a new AI-assisted planning and tracking tool to battle construction delays. Using site-specific data the company will facilitate accurate progress-based plans and targets to improve performance and be adaptable to dynamic realities.

Meet Plan Tracker

Launching Plan Tracker, the new suite of tools will enable construction managers to accurately plan and track weekly activities and milestones using project-specific data. Using this data the system monitors the progress of plans and measures effectiveness, as well as facilitates continuous improvements in performance and adapts to changes on the ground to avoid delays.

Buildots has designed its new suite to be able to seamlessly integrate with existing management processes and is driven by real-world site progress data and advanced AI algorithms.

Plan Tracker includes two new tools:

‘Workplan’ - to break down project plans into smaller tasks, set realistic due dates, share information with relevant people, compare progress against plans, and use the system to provide feedback.

‘Targets’ - to set critical milestones, accurately track progress, including subcontractors' performance and supply chain issues, and set due dates.

“This functionality helps to easily identify issues early on and take corrective measures to protect these milestones, preventing work stoppages and delays, while fostering accountability within the team and with subcontractors,” noted Buildots.

An intuitive management experience

Drawing from lean construction methods, the Plan Tracker suite offers an intuitive management experience, with high-level interactivity, methodical planning, managerial autonomy, and improved accountability.

"Plan Tracker gives our customers greater control and more ways to interact with and gain value from the unique dataset generated by Buildots," said Aviv Leibovici, Co-Founder and CPO at Buildots.

"Since we started, we have taken a close look at how customers use the platform in order to identify opportunities to add value. We realized that there are countless situations and decisions that construction managers face that could greatly benefit from the data collected on-site. Plan Tracker presents a bridge between this invaluable data and the managers who need it, providing unprecedented insights that will now help them manage projects even more effectively."
